The contoured greens are protected by numerous bunkers which were renovated in the spring of 2007. Rackham is a great place to add to your list of metro Detroit golf courses. It has been the home to 2 U.S Amateur Pub Links Championships and rated one of the Top 10 municipal golf courses in Michigan.

DONALD ROSS DESIGNED

Rackham Golf Course was designed by legendary golf course architect Donald Ross, whose designs include Pinehurst #2, Inverness Club, and Oakland Hills. Rackham provides a challenging golf course for golfers of any level. The course has been named one of Donald Ross’ ten best public golf courses.

EXCEPTIONAL GOLF COURSE LAYOUT

Rackham is a championship golf course with a chipping and putting green available for use before your round. The Par 71 layout features an experience with well manicured fairways and undulating greens. Distance from the back tees is 6,555 yards. Middle tees are 6,253 yards. Forward tees are 5,413 yards.

Rackham Golf Course was established in 1923. The course was designed by legendary course architect Donald Ross. It has been the home of Ben Davis, one of the country’s first African-American golf pros. Rackham is the top choice to play in Royal Oak, Madison Heights, Warren, Detroit and Windsor. You owe it to yourself to experience this classic golf course!
